Nicole is a Partner at Goldsand Friedberg. She represents healthcare technology companies on strategic, regulatory, and corporate matters. Nicole advises clients at the forefront of technology and care delivery in all stages of growth and on a fractional general counsel basis.

Experience
Nicole practiced as Senior Counsel in-house at Included Health, a national leader in virtual medicine and integrated care. She also practiced at Doctor On Demand prior to its merger with Included Health. Previously, Nicole advised healthcare companies, strategic investors, and private equity sponsors on mergers and acquisitions and healthcare regulatory matters at McDermott Will & Emery, LLP.
Counseling multi-state telehealth businesses on care modalities, corporate practice of medicine, scope of practice, prescribing, reimbursement, business development and expansion, contracting, compliance, and other matters.
Advising healthcare clients on complex commercial agreements with self-funded employer plans, commercial payors, and managed care plans.
Assisting clients with diligence in capital raises with respect to digital health regulatory issues.
Counseling clients on regulatory issues applicable to telemedicine businesses (e.g. fraud and abuse, privacy, government programs, etc.).
Advising digital health companies in various healthcare spaces, including primary, pediatric, behavioral health, women’s, and many other areas of specialty care.
Representing clients as corporate and healthcare regulatory counsel in various transactions.
Education
Nicole graduated from Emory University School of Law, with honors and Order of the Coif, where she served as Managing Editor of the Emory Law Journal. Nicole received her undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Florida.
